Vault OTG (On-The-Go) flash drives are a unique combination of solid state hardware and the powerful, award-winning CE Secure encryption software developed by CMS Products.
The new Vault OTG flash drives are factory preloaded and fully encrypted using CE Secure, giving users unprecedented access control and data protection on Windows-based systems. Because the Vault OTG is a self-contained solution, it travels with the flash drive from system to system with nothing to install on the host computer. The easy-to-use solution simply requires a quick pass phrase set-up prior to first use. Pass phrases provide controlled access to the data on the flash drive, which is protected utilizing 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption.
The FIPS compliant Vault OTG has a quick auto-launch unlock and for added security, automatically locks itself when unplugged from a USB 2.0 port.
"We are absolutely confident that our new 'Vault OTG' solution will be a 'must have' product for anyone who needs to transport data in a completely secure environment," said Gary Streuter, vice president of marketing at CMS Products. "The strong AES 256-bit encryption combined with the Vault OTG's easy-to-use interface allows even computer novices to secure their data against unauthorized access. No footprint or 'trace' is left on the system when the Vault OTG is used. Should the flash drive be misplaced or stolen, the 256-bit encryption scheme continues to protect the data on the 'Vault OTG,' even under the most hazardous conditions," Streuter continued.
Designed to utilize the high transfer rate and bandwidth of a USB 2.0 interface, the Vault OTG flash drives are available in one, two, four and eight gigabyte (GB) capacities and support Windows Vista, XP and 2000 operating environments. The Vault OTG comes with a limited three-year warranty.
