A peek at Windows XP SP3's new security features

A few new security features should make it in Windows XP's third Service Pack. Here are some of them, as the rumor mill has it.
Microsoft's beta testers have been busy lately. Aside from Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista's first Service Pack, they've been presented with a beta of Windows XP's third Service Pack. Amongst the 1000+ fixes, some new security features are introduced. Here are a couple of the most interesting ones :
- Network Access Protection : to define what client can connect to the company's network, and how.
- Kernel Mode Cryptographic Module : provides for customizable crypto algorithms within Windows.
- Black Hole Router protection : detects and avoid un-official routers on the network.
