NeoScale was dissolved in November 2007 and nCipher acquired some of its assets.
Customers who had purchased NeoScale's CryptoStor FC Disk product are
unsupported, at risk, and in immediate need of an alternative solution
because no purchasers have come forward to assume responsibility for
NeoScale FC Disk technology.
Vormetric's rescue program is specifically
designed to provide rapid, safe removal of FC Disk and its replacement with

The special rescue program for former NeoScale customers offers:
- A free transition assessment to gauge impact and scope of work required to remove CryptoStor FC Disk from existing infrastructure. This assessment will be delivered at no charge by Vormetric data security and infrastructure expert
- Special transition pricing and incentives to ease the financial burden on enterprises made vulnerable by NeoScale's corporate dissolution
- Professional services scheduling priority to remove the risk to data as quickly as possible
